Shock insulation for forging presses

Project overview:

In this project, a Müller 1300 hydraulic drawing press was installed on elastic mounting elements for vibration isolation. The press has a maximum lifting speed of approx. 10 s/stroke and an average lifting speed of approx. 30 s/stroke with manual overturning.

Technical data:

  • Type: Müller 1300 hydraulic drawing press
  • Total mass: approx. 150,000 kg (approx. 190,000 kg with tools and accessories)

Challenge:

A milling shop near the press was negatively affected by the impact and broadband excitation of the press, which affected the accuracy of the manufactured parts.

The solution: isoloc press storage systems

isoloc offers an optimal solution to this challenge with its press storage systems. Our systems are specially designed to be integrated into existing production environments without the need for extensive changes to the foundations or the installation of additional, long cantilevered steel frames.

    Conclusion

The isoloc press mounting systems are an outstanding solution for vibration isolation of forging presses, especially when space conditions are a challenge. With their compact design, adaptability and durability, they offer an efficient and maintenance-free option to improve production quality and extend the service life of the equipment.
